A floating Russian banyaon the water near Moscow

Hot steam, a jump straight into the reservoir, and golden sunsets — a private sauna boat for your group only, no strangers.

First time in a Russian banya?

A banya is the Russian steam bath — for centuries the place where friends and family relax, talk and celebrate together. The rhythm is simple: heat up in the wood-fired steam room, cool down (here, by diving straight off the deck into the water), then rest with tea, food and good company. Repeat as long as you like.

You need no experience — we welcome you, light the fire, explain how everything works and let you enjoy it at your own pace. It is one of the most authentic experiences you can have near Moscow, and ours is built right on the water.

Good to know

I have never been to a banya. What is it, exactly?+

A banya is the traditional Russian steam bath — the heart of Russian hospitality. You alternate between a hot wood-fired steam room and cooling off (here, by jumping straight into the reservoir), then relax, eat and drink with your group. Ours is built on a boat, so you steam, swim and watch the sunset all from the water. No experience needed — we explain everything on arrival.

Do you speak English?+

Yes. The easiest way to book and ask questions is WhatsApp — message us and we will arrange everything in English, including the pickup.

What should I bring and wear?+

Bring a swimsuit, flip-flops and a towel (towels, felt hats and birch whisks can also be provided for a small fee). You can bring your own food and drinks — there is space on board. In the steam room most guests wear a swimsuit or wrap in a towel.

Is it private?+

Completely. You book the whole banya for your group only — never shared with strangers. Up to 16 guests.

How do we get there without a car?+

We meet you at the Marabu pier in Boltino village (Mytishchi), about 15 minutes from the MKAD ring road, and take you to the banya by catamaran — the transfer is included. Message us on WhatsApp and we will send the exact pin and directions.

What is included in the price?+

Firewood, heating the banya, preparation, and the boat transfer to and from the pier. Professional Yamaha karaoke (mixer, speakers and microphones) is also included. Birch whisks, towels, hats and soap are available for an extra fee or you can bring your own.

Does it run in winter and in bad weather?+

The banya runs in any weather — the steam room and covered veranda keep you warm and cozy, and rain only makes it more atmospheric. For winter availability just ask us on WhatsApp.
